This beautiful country house with its own private swimming pool sits in three acres of grounds in the heart of the beautiful dordogne countryside. It has recently been restored to a very high standard and all windows and doors are solid oak. Totally private and independant from any other properties, Faugereau is just twentyfive kilometres from Bergerac airport and three kilometres from the quiet market town of Lauzun. Our sole aim has been to make it the perfect venue for a relaxing holiday.

 ACCOMMODATION:

Faugereau has six large bedrooms and five bathrooms.

GROUND FLOOR: The sitting room has a magnificent stone fireplace, bags of character and comfortable sofas and chairs where you can relax out of the sun and watch english satelite television or DVD’s.

The huge refectory room has a fully fitted kitchen at one end, and at the other a solid oak dining table with matching chairs that seats 12 plus. In between the two, french windows lead out onto the garden.

There is also a wash room containing a washing machine, ironing board and iron, and a second fridge.

There is one bathroom on the ground floor (comprising of a large shower, WC and washbasin), and next to it a double bedroom with french windows leading out on to the lawn right beside the steps to the pool.   
          
The 11 X 5 metre pool is fenced off from the house for your children’s safety, it has 3 large steps that lead down into the shallow end of the swimming pool. 

Between the house and the swimming pool, we are constructing a covered terrace which will finished for the 2010 letting season, and there will be direct access to it through a door from the sitting room.


There are five bedrooms upstairs. Two double bedrooms which both have new kingsize beds and en suite fully tiled bathrooms (one with a bath, shower, WC and washbasin, and the other with shower, WC and washbasin). There is one twin bedroom with a private bathroom (shower, WC and washbasin), and two more bedrooms that have 3 single beds in each, and which share the fifth bathroom (bath, WC and  double washbasin).
